Invego and EfTEN have reached a major milestone in the development of their joint €50 million residential complex Mārupes Sirds, with all construction permits now officially issued and the selection of the general contractor entering its final stage. The first phase of the project includes 65 new homes, with prices starting from EUR 119,900.
Kristjan-Thor Vähi, CEO of Invego Group, says the project is progressing exactly as planned: “Receiving the full set of construction permits allows us to move forward as planned. We are now completing the builder selection process so that construction can begin at the right pace.”
The first phase of Mārupes Sirds will deliver 50 apartments and 15 premium terraced houses. The whole residential area was designed by architect Uldis Bērziņš from the TECTUM bureau, creating a modern architectural identity and a thoughtfully planned living environment integrated with the surrounding greenery. The collaboration with TECTUM builds on the strong results of the recently fully completed project Parka Kvartāls, ensuring high quality and a design that will stand the test of time.
A-class energy-efficient homes with balconies, terraces and private gardens will offer everyday comfort and a close connection to nature. The neighborhood will feature green areas, sports and leisure zones, children’s playgrounds, walking paths, and essential infrastructure. As one of the largest developers of comprehensive residential districts in Estonia, Invego is bringing its experience and best-loved solutions to Latvia, creating a thoughtfully planned living environment for future residents.
Kristjan-Thor Vähi highlights that the location is one of the project’s strongest advantages: “Mārupe has become one of the most desirable places to live near Riga — close to the city yet surrounded by greenery and a calm suburban atmosphere. It’s an ideal setting for a modern residential district like Mārupes Sirds.”
Mārupes Sirds development is envisioned as a fully integrated residential district, planned as a cohesive whole and delivered in stages. Once complete, the development will include more than 400 new homes of various types, making it one of the most ambitious new residential districts near Riga.
Mārupes Sirds residential development is financed by EfTEN Special Opportunities Fund.
