The cornerstone of the new residential neighbourhood \u201cM\u0101rupes Sirds\u201d was ceremonially laid in M\u0101rupe, marking a major milestone in the development of one of the largest new residential projects near Riga.<\/strong> Once complete, the \u20ac50 million project<\/strong> developed by Invego in cooperation with<\/strong> EfTEN Special Opportunities Fund<\/strong> will comprise more than 400 homes in M\u0101rupe.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the ceremony, Marianne Kalma, Partner and head of construction at Invego, thanked all project partners involved in bringing the development to life. \u201cIn about a year and a half, this place will become home to 65 families through the first phase of \u201cM\u0101rupes Sirds\u201d, which includes two apartment buildings and 15 row houses. We are grateful to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life, from the architects and engineers to M\u0101rupe Municipality, EfTEN Capital and our construction team of the first phase SIA \u201cEKOTEH B\u016aVE\u201d. Most importantly, we thank our clients, because everything we are creating here is for them. Very soon a new community will emerge here, and many families will call this place home,\u201d said Marianne Kalma. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing M\u0101rupe Municipality, Chairman of the Development and Environment Committee Arnis Priedi\u0146\u0161 emphasized the importance of high-quality projects for the municipality\u2019s sustainable development: \u201cWe highly value real estate developers who think not only about construction quality, but also about thoughtful urban planning and how a new development will integrate into the existing neighbourhood. This approach helps create a high-quality living environment for both current and future residents of M\u0101rupe.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen evaluating real estate projects, both the location and the team behind the development are essential. \u201cM\u0101rupes Sirds\u201d enjoys a strategically advantageous location with convenient access to Riga, J\u016brmala and the international airport, while the project\u2019s name reflects important values: a sense of home, belonging and community. At the same time, Invego has demonstrated its expertise in developing large-scale projects in both Latvia and Estonia. The architectural concept for the residential district was developed by Uldis B\u0113rzi\u0146\u0161 together with the TECTUM team. The architect expressed his genuine joy at seeing the ideas captured in the drawings become reality. \u201cDesigning new buildings is one thing, but creating a true sense of home is a major challenge, and we are confident that we will succeed in doing so with this project,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project’s construction partner stressed its commitment to quality and timely delivery. \u201cToday we are laying foundations not only for new buildings but also for a future community. Our goal is to deliver high-quality construction safely and on schedule,\u201d said Oskars Petrovs, Chairman of the Board at SIA \u201cEKOTEH B\u016aVE\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed as an A-class energy-efficient residential neighbourhood, \u201cM\u0101rupes Sirds\u201d will combine modern architecture with extensive green spaces, playgrounds, walking paths and recreational infrastructure. Upon completion, the development will comprise apartment buildings and row houses, creating a diverse and vibrant neighbourhood in the heart of M\u0101rupe. The first phase of construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
