The developers of the new residential project Miera Rezidences – Invego and Reterra – have received the construction permit, marking a significant milestone for the 40 million euros development on Miera Street 75.
Miera Street is a historically built and densely developed urban area where new residential projects are very rare. “We are pleased to confirm that Miera Rezidences has received its construction permit, allowing us to move confidently into the next stage of development,” says Kristjan Thor Vähi, CEO of Invego. “The Miera district is among Riga’s most desirable areas, so it’s no surprise that interest in this project has been exceptionally high from the very beginning, and securing the permit brings us one step closer to delivering a modern, high quality residential environment in one of Riga’s most charming neighborhoods.”
Reigo Randmets, CEO of Reterra, notes that the focus now shifts to choosing the right construction partner: “We are in the process of evaluating proposals from several strong market players and we expect to finalize the selection and announce the results soon. Our priority is quality and long-term reliability, which is why it’s essential for us to align with a partner who shares our standards and vision, ensuring that Miera Rezidences is delivered at the highest level.”
The architectural concept was created through an architectural competition and developed by Latvian architecture firm Tectum. The residential complex will offer 172 modern, energy efficient apartments with 2.8-meter ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, spacious balconies or terraces, and landscaped inner yard. The project will be built in two phases, with construction scheduled to begin in 2026.
Miera Rezidences has already attracted remarkable public attention. Even before the project’s official launch, nearly a thousand people had pre-registered their interest, with strong demand for two- and three-room apartments, as well as homes with private gardens and terraces. The project’s location – with its greenery, lively cultural scene, great views, and the distinct charm of Miera Street – continues to be one of its strongest advantages.
Invego and Reterra are among the most active residential developers in Latvia, with several large-scale projects currently underway. In Riga, the companies have jointly delivered the now completed Parka Kvartāls and are developing Skanstes Rezidences and Miera Rezidences, while Invego independently leads the development of Torņakalna Terases, Nordale and Vītolu Parks. Outside the capital, Invego is building the extensive Mārupe residential area Mārupes Sirds and the row house district Vide Ādaži.
