The initiative “Latvia Needs More Children” supports families with children by offering up to 25,000 euros when purchasing a new home before the end of June. This widely welcomed family support program, launched by real estate developers Invego and Reterra, has already helped 38 families secure new homes in previous rounds, resulting in nearly 400,000 euros in total savings.
The program aims to make new homes more attainable for larger families and to strengthen the national effort toward demographic growth. “We know that planning a family’s future takes courage, and we want to help create an environment where that decision feels supported,” says Kristjan-Thor Vähi, CEO of Invego. “Latvia still needs more children, and when businesses join public efforts, families gain the confidence that their choice to grow truly matters.”
Reterra CEO Reigo Randmets notes that extending the initiative aligns with the company’s long-term values. “Our projects are created for real families and real everyday life. By offering direct support, we’re investing in Latvia’s long-term future — helping families build stable homes and strong foundations for the next generation.”
The initiative provides €5,000 per child, up to €25,000 per family, for the purchase of a home in any of the developers’ Latvian projects. The offer applies to both completed and under-construction homes currently available for sale. The program covers a range of residential developments in Riga and its surroundings, including Parka Kvartāls, Miera Rezidences, Vītolu Parks, Skanstes Rezidences, Torņakalna Terases, Nordale, Vide Ādaži and Mārupes Sirds. All projects are designed with families in mind, featuring green courtyards, playgrounds, safe pedestrian areas, and A-class energy efficiency.
